Day 44: This Guy Called My Savior

Scripture: Mathew 4:19 And He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you Fishers of men”

If we are to be Christ follower’s we should know who or what we are following. What is He like? Who is He? What is His nature and character like? We can learn a lot of this from just His names. He is El Shaddai, Elohim, Adonai, Abba, El Elyon, He is Jahova! He is God Almighty, the Mighty Creator, Lord, Father, God Most High. He came to earth to show us too. Jesus revealed the Father and what He is like. He demonstrated to us that He is a constant source of grace, love and affirmation. He proved to us He will accomplish His will and purposes by His death burial and resurrection. He is alive and well and continues to fulfill His will, and He invited us! He said “follow Me” Not to increase position and standing in the community. Not for riches or a life of careless ease. But to walk with El Shaddai, Adonai, Abba!   But Why? He is looking for true followers, a people to call His own. Not for their own glory but because He is EL Elyon, God most High. He is going to accomplish His will and we’re asked if we want to join Him. He isn’t going to make us. But if we want to participate in a move of God, we have to be willing to move with God. Lets find out what and where he is moving and join Him, He is Emanuel he is with us.
