Awana is an important part of the student ministry here at Riverview Baptist Church. The heartbeat of Awana is the memorization of God's Word. Under the leadership of godly leaders students are taught the importance of knowing Jesus Christ as Savior and the importance of hiding God's Word in their hearts. Riverview Baptist Church has used the Awana ministry for the last thirty years.
Awana meets during the school year on Sunday nights. The students meet in the Multipurpose Building (gymnasium) at 5:30 P.M.

Our Awana Co-Commanders are Clay and Cindy Stafford. Clay and Cindy have been devoted to the Awana ministry for many years. They lead a faithful group of club directors, leaders, and listeners in our Awana Club. We are thankful for everyone who serves in Awana each Sunday night.
